To ensure compliance with the IBEW Constitution, please review the eligibility requirements below before completing the donation form.

Under Article III, Section 12 of the IBEW Constitution, candidates are prohibited from soliciting or accepting financial contributions from individuals who are not members in good standing of the IBEW.

For the purposes of campaign contributions:

  • A non-member is anyone who is not currently a member in good standing of the IBEW.

  • A non-member also includes former IBEW members, including retirees, who are no longer dues-paying members.

Before submitting the form, please have the following information ready:

  • First and last name

  • Home address (street, city, province, and postal code)

  • Local Union number

  • IBEW membership card number

  • Email address

Once your information has been submitted and your eligibility has been confirmed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to make your contribution via Interac e-Transfer.

Please note that all campaign contributions must be reported by the candidate in accordance with IBEW financial reporting requirements and filed with the IBEW Campaign Contribution Administrator.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Only IBEW members who are currently in good standing and are dues-paying members are eligible to make a financial contribution to Matt's campaign. Former members, including retirees who are no longer dues-paying members, are not eligible to contribute.

  • Your personal information will be used only for verifying your eligibility, processing your contribution, and meeting the financial reporting requirements of the IBEW. As required by the IBEW Constitution, all campaign contributions must be reported to the IBEW Campaign Contribution Administrator.
