Brothers and Sisters,

Today, we begin a new path forward together, one that strengthens our Locals, grows our Brotherhood and opens new opportunities for our members.

I am profoundly thankful for your confidence in electing me your International Vice President. It is the honour of my life, and I am excited to get to work for you.

To everyone who believed in this campaign and helped carry it forward: you made this possible. You opened doors, started conversations and stood behind a conviction we share: Strong Locals Build a Strong Union. I am deeply grateful for your trust and determined to deliver on it.

Canada’s future is being built now, and our members have the skills and determination to help shape it. As our country responds to a changing world, we have an opportunity for major projects that put members to work, expand training and bring more workers into our union.

I have the experience and the relationships to help turn that potential into results, with our Locals powering the work of our union.

We have Business Managers pursuing new projects, Local leaders ready to organize and skilled members ready to build. I’m ready to put the full strength of our District behind them, with practical support, better tools and a partner they can count on.

I want to thank Russ for his service and commitment to the IBEW. To everyone who supported him, I invite you to work with me. Bring your ideas, your experience and your ambitions for your Local. I will listen, work to earn your trust and make sure you have a voice in this office.

The IBEW has shaped my life. I have spent my working years building this union alongside people like you, and you have now given me the opportunity to do more.

Thank you for this extraordinary honour. We have so much to build together.
